Located within the Toronto Western Hospital’s Emergency Department at 399 Bathurst St, the PESU provides 24-hr per day-- 7 day per week state of the art diagnosis and care for most psychiatric emergencies. We perform assessments in a safe and secure environment by our multidisciplinary PESU team consisting of attending psychiatrists and residents, psychiatric nurses, crisis clinicians and social workers. Last year we attended to 1500 patients of all ages
