Swallowing Clinic

The Swallowing Clinic provides an assessment and consultation service to people with oropharyngeal swallowing disorders.

Our services:

• Initial evaluation by a speech-language pathologist (after which an X-ray video of the person swallowing may be done in conjunction with a radiologist)
• Consultation with other health professionals, such as dietitians and gastroenterologists

Currently, the Swallowing Clinic runs two days per week and staff see approximately 15 new patients a month from throughout Ontario. A UHN physician's referral is required for this service.
