Diagnostic Clinics provide new and advanced cardiac diagnostic tests to help doctors find out how well the heart and lungs are working. Using invasive and minimally invasive tests, doctors are able to diagnose heart disease, see the effects caused by a heart attack and monitor how chronic heart failure patients are doing

The Echocardiography Lab (Echo Lab) performs echocardiograms. An echocardiogram is a diagnostic procedure that uses sound waves (ultrasound) to investigate heart function and blood flow within the heart.
Clinic Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Clinical Electrophysiology Department ![]()

A diagnostic and follow up clinic that non-invasively analyzes heart rhythms and offers care to patients with pacemakers and defibrillators. The clinic offers testing in 4 main care areas:
- Pacemakers- Patients with implanted pacemakers undergo follow-up testing in the clinic to check the status of their device.
- Defibrillators- Patients with implanted defibrillators undergo follow-up testing in the clinic to check the status of their device.
- Exercise Testing- Patients are monitored while they exercise on a treadmill, to find out if they have narrowed coronary arteries (atherosclerosis) and or irregular heart rhythms.
- Holter Monitoring Lab-Ambulatory Event Recording: Take-home tools to monitor the patient’s heart rhythm continuously over a period of time. These tests diagnose rhythm disturbances encountered during normal activity
Clinic Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Nuclear Cardiology ![]()
![]()
A diagnostic clinic that non-invasively examines the changing states of heart function and blood flow with a very high degree of sensitivity and specificity. Procedures involve injecting a small amount of radioactive pharmaceutical into the bloodstream that enables doctors to examine resting and stress states of: 1) Coronary blood flow and 2) Heart contraction and dilation. The team includes Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Cardiac Technologists and Cardiologists.
Clinic Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
