Arthritis

Arthritis is any inflammatory condition of the joints, characterized by pain, swelling, heat, redness, and limitation of movement.

Arthritis and related disorders include various rheumatic diseases causing joint and musculoskeletal pain. There is a wide range of disorders and symptoms encompassed by this grouping, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjogren's syndrome, polymyositis, vasculitis, scleroderma, gout, fibromyalgia, back pain and regional pain disorders.
